Spent an afternoon shooting behind the counter at The Seagarden and Grill, aboard The Prince Regent in London, the prep, the pans, the plates going out before anyone at the table sees them. Seafood photography especially has this thing where the ritual matters as much as the result. It’s caught, handled with care, and on a plate within hours. Most people never see that part. I think it’s the best part. What I’m chasing lately isn’t just how food looks, it’s how people move around it, and what it means when we actually share a meal instead of just eating one.
